Egg Coated Bread with Condensed Milk

This recipe is inspired from a Thai snack which can be commonly found sold on the street, the snack is called Roti. It is similar to pancake and is freshly made in front of you with batter and a hot stove plate? You are able to pick a variety of toppings to go onto it including: banana, sugar or chocolate sauce. As the time goes by, more toppings are being introduced but 6 years ago, my ultimate favourite topping was egg and condensed milk. This involved spreading one of the sides with egg and letting it cook and then drizzling condensed milk on top, some people even added sugar on top of that as an extra for their sweet tooth. So today, I am adapting the recipe to be able to do it easily at home with ingredients which you can buy from your local supermarket.

Ingredients:

- Bread
- Egg
- Condensed Milk

Method:

1.  Cut all the crusts off of the slices of bread that you are going to use.
2.  Use a rolling pin or another round object to flatten the bread.
3. Place each slice of flattened into beaten egg, I placed the egg into a plate which has high sides so that it is quicker and more convenient to dip the egg in compared to using a bowl.
4.  Place some oil into a pan and once it is hot, place the egg coated bread into it and fry till golden brown.
5.  Place each piece onto a plate and drizzle condensed milk on top.
